PAM Strap

So... As some of you know I've been on a bit of a PAM binge of late. This has also been coupled with a desire for straps as most PAMNUTS can attest.

I've ordered a raft from McJules and eagerly await their arrival. In the meantime, I thought I'd hit the bay and but a couple of cheapies to keep the strap thirst at bay.

I managed to find a nice strap made with the infamous "crazy horse" leather from Strap Junkie. Bargain price of £24 (haggled down from £32) Pics are up on the feedback thread on my 312.

I also orderd a custom Chilean calf leather from a little maker based in; you guessed it, Chile. The strap arrived today, and I'm pleased to say the strap is of excellent quality & craftsmanship. Unfortunately, they've got my order a little wrong (presumably the language barrier) and I've dropped them an email to resolve. I'm sure it will all come good as they are of good standing on the bay.

Here's a pic of said strap they sent. As you'll see it's very well made. Completely by hand

Picked this up for; wait for it...£20.

I'll post up when I receive the other straps from various other vendors.

Cheers

P.

I believe I have bought straps from that same dealer in Chile, the quality and stitching looks similar mine also came with that same card/leaflet. Very good value as they are quality straps, even more so when you consider the price.

Vendor has come back to me and they will replace the strap FOC without the need to return the one I have. Now that, is customer service.

Happy P!!

Cheers

What was wrong with the order?

I ordered 24/22 in 130/85, 2 keepers -1 fixed, and thin at the tail for deployment. The strap I received was 24/24 in 125/75, 1 floating keeper and for pre-V tang.

As I've essentially got this for free, I'll see about doing something with it.

Martu Leathercraft?

That's the one! That's not the vendors name on e-bay I bought from though. They are the straps and they are very good straps.

Yeah I know. Something to do with the vendors initials I think?

Just to let those who are interested know, I'm going to do a giveaway on the strap I have so someone else can benefit from the vendors good will. I'm not out of pocket and in the ne of community spirit.

Keep an eye out for it later when I get home and take some better pics etc.

Cheers

P.

I have come across them. In the ad they say they'll do custom sizes, however a quick email and it's only if you order in bulk.

Having larger wrists really does suck donkey dick some times...
