Drhulee 0 Posted August 9, 2010 Dolph Lundgren?!? That name is a little out of place on that poster
Chronograph 0 Posted August 9, 2010 Dolph Lundgren?!? That name is a little out of place on that poster How so? They are all action film stars that were at their peaks in the '80's and '90's, with the exception of Statham who started doing action films in the 2000's. If any name is out of place in that list, its Micky Rourke. B)

Drhulee 0 Posted August 9, 2010 Dolph Lundgren?!? That name is a little out of place on that poster B) How so? They are all action film stars that were at their peaks in the '80's and '90's, with the exception of Statham who started doing action films in the 2000's. If any name is out of place in that list, its Micky Rourke. Lundgren only made one slightly successful movie while playing the leading role (and that one was mainly because of his supporting role in one of the laughable Rocky sequels), and even that was decades ago. He simply can't act, never could (just had the right look, good training, and had a small following - still less than Steven Seagal these days though). All the others have either been the leading actor in multiple high grossing feature films, have received acclaim and awards for their acting, or are simply just icons in the action film genre. Rourke was great actor, starred in many great movies (Year of The Dragon is still one of the few flics I can actually watch more than once ever year or so), Jet Li is a superstar in Hong Kong and China, and has starred in some great Western productions as well. Stathom is the new kid on the bloc, and has proved that he is able to bring in the crowds. No need to say more about the last three So, yes, I would say his name is very out of place among those others. But who knows, this may be his big chance, second chance that is. prestigewatchco 2 Posted August 9, 2010 Certainly better than Stallone at least . Stallone doesn't speak even passable English
Drhulee 0 Posted August 9, 2010 Certainly better than Stallone at least . Stallone doesn't speak even passable English Well he's from New York, they have their own version of the English language over there - butchered even more than regular American English.
