GC 4,512 Posted August 12, 2010 First off, I would like to than Mary @ WatchInternational for sourcing me this stunning timepiece! This watch is the result of many hours of homework deciding exactly which Vintage Rolex I would add to my collection. And let me say it surpasses every expectation, even strait out-of-the-box, that I had hoped for. This watch is an example of a mid to late 70's DRSD, it would be considered a MarkII dial with correct dial print, period correct caseback, bracelet w/lug markings, superdome crystal, HEV, beveled date window & wheel and drilled lugholes. This is a "special" watch as it is a sentimental present to myself to mark my up-coming 35th b-day. I wanted something period correct, something that would have been produced in 1975 (such as myself) and something to mark the passage of time (what better present than a watch?). This piece will be heading to RolexAddict in the near future for him to work his magic on and make it look even more so genuine... but not until I vintage it up a bit by wearing it regularly!
