Derek Mc 1 Posted March 11, 2014 My second incoming today, and again a little underwhelmed but again, for $99 or about £60.00 I will wear this one the extent of that will depend on just what you good people tell me here. I have always longed for an OSP 007 and the Casino Royale version looked great on the website but I knew would be a risk as any replica blue dial can present huge colour problems in my experience. So the bezel is a shade too light, but beautiful, really nicely machined and if I had bought black then I think I would be making not a single criticism as it is better finished than my Rotary pictured at the bottom for comparison. The face is a good rendition of the correct shade, the rifling is too heavy sadly and over states the face too much, the logo is a transfer but good enough. The hands are very very good indeed and the 007 sweep second hand I love! The watch is heavy and the strap (requiring 4 full links removed to fit my skinny wrist) is again very very solid and well made but the mill finished steel clasp innards give the game away as soon as you open the watch. The clasop cover has a lighly embossed logo and wording, so again a tell tale instantly to a keen eyed horologist, but to me it will be worn for work and happily all things said, unless you shame me to hide it away that is! My little Rotary that has fed my OSP need all these years This watch keeps immaculate time, I mean it is scary how well it runs for a £100.00 watch, all I did was add a brushed deployment clasp and it is a wonderful wee thing.
