Also, I don't think it is healthy for my body. even philosophically, I believe humans were originally intended to be the caretakers of animals and not the consumers of them. I have no issue with people who consume meat. I fed my family meat and still do. I gut, clean and dress animals for meat when needed for food purposes. I would hunt and slaughter animals if needed to feed my loved ones. Most people in today's world make a distinction between meat...and animals. They don't understand or deny (to themselves) the relationship between meat and animals. I have no illusions in that area. Now...will you answer a question for me? gtwc 1 Posted January 17, 2011 I have both the Purdey Panerai (Lion face) and the Blackseal with the PIG cover. The Purdey has a retail price of about 15k, whereas the Blackseal PIG is only 5k (in GB£) - who'd have thought that the name Purdey was worth an extra 10k??? Both from Josh. Both are (supposedly) powered by Asian 7750s - I haven't checked. Build quality and timekeeping are super (losing less than 10 secs a day - a minute a week). The engravings are absolutely fuckin' superb - I checked 'em against originals in the latest Pam SE catalog. The only initial problem was that the covers were both polished s/s, not brushed. ScotchBrite to the rescue - now they are beautifully matte, just like the gen (and NO loss of engraving / paint detail). The engraving is really great, deep and detailed - a whole mile away from the usual laser-etched shit. I promise to post pics when I return home in a few days (just visiting the old folks).
