I paid on tuesday via WU, on wednesday Ryan picked up the money and told me it would take about 3 days to get the watch from factory and then he'd email me the QC pics. Bezel is more matte than shiny.. and that gap is just an illusion from the crystal.. The watch is spot on. Date window looks great on this - properly recessed as gen Pearl looks nice and flush too, what's it like? The pearl is absolutely amazing. That's exactly what i thought too, tho i have the 42mm incoming from Ryan, i also bought the rubber strap with orange stitching to have some variation.
