JaervyBarzenblatz 0 Posted August 15, 2010 Hey guys. So I was trying to figure this out, but am at a loss. Why is the Blackbird more than $100 more expensive than the Ultimate Skyland Avenger? I mean, they are more or less the same, but the Blackbird seems to sell for anywhere from $100-150 more than the Ultimate Skyland for some reason. I prefer the Blackbird to the Skyland, as it just looks cleaner and more symmetrical, but am put off by the price. Help me to understand this, please... greg_r 82 Posted August 15, 2010 It's just one of those watches that the factory has overpriced. Same problem with the Flying B, the v1 Hublots and a handful of others. Unfortunate, but not a lot we can do about it....
debian 0 Posted August 15, 2010 How does the date-wheel work on the blackbird, how can it be so big?
KBH 7 Posted August 15, 2010 How does the date-wheel work on the blackbird, how can it be so big? Two separate wheels mounted at the top of the movement. Probably that's why is so expensive. Different date module.

JaervyBarzenblatz 0 Posted August 16, 2010 Thanks for the info, guys. I guess I never really took the date wheels into consideration. That makes sense though.
