vonGluberschmidt 0 Posted August 17, 2010 can someone please explain to me what, if any differences there are between an asian 2892-2 movement and an eta 2824 movement? I'm speaking specifically about the same Omega Aqua Terra rep that two trusted dealers offer, but each one has a different movement - only a few dollars apart. please and thanks! David. vonGluberschmidt 0 Posted August 17, 2010 I looked through there, and saw no mention of either of the two movements I mentioned above. d.
KBH 7 Posted August 17, 2010 I'm not really familiar with the a2829-2 movement. But in the world of Swiss watches, the 2892-2 is a much better movement than the 2824-2. It's newer, thinner, and quite a bit more expensive.
Member X 91 Posted August 17, 2010 I think they'fre just different thicknesses - I know WM9 swapped (from one to the other??) so they could get accurate crown hole position.
