New Project in the Works

Recommended Posts

J.Eric

Hi Guys,

Yesterday I received an ETA 2846 for an upcoming project. It's nothing

special. Only 17 jewels. But now I need to figure out what to do with

it. Originally, I had plans to swap out the ETA 2824 in my AP Diver,

but after reading many threads on the subject, it's not a simple swap.

My other choices are the Space-Dweller or the 1680.

Here's a few pics for your enjoyment...

And if anyone knows what language the day is printed in that would be cool to know.

Thanks for looking and if anyone has any more suggestions for its use, I would like to hear.

1680 is not a bad idea. This is 21,600 rate and the 1570 was 19,800.

I used the 2879 in my 5517 and that is running strong. I pulled the day and date rings both but you can just pull the day ring and add the overlay and be off and running...

Good movement!

Thanks J!m. The more I think about it, I will

probably use it for the 1680. The Space-Dweller

is a custom build and may be tricky to put back

together.
