AllergyDoc 40 Posted November 21, 2008 Another post lifted off RWG1. Sorry I can't recall the original poster. When the 7750 stops running: (Extreme) Sometimes this helps, ...S O M E T I M E S . 1. Turn in the crown back on it place (safety first) 2. Turn it back out and pull it smoothly 2 clicks out, ...smoothly. 3. Turn the HOUR hand to somewhere at 7, 8 or 9 o'clock 4. Push the crown all the way in. 5. Now try to wind it. This sometimes works with my watches. Not always though. You just have to try it. If it works do not ask me why. Last November I had the same thing with a Navitimer World, Omega Seamaster Chrono and a Rolex Daytona I sold. All three with ASIAN 7750 movement. I have ask my factory what to do and they advised me to do as mentioned on top. It worked out fine. If it does not I think you have to have you watch serviced. Small question: If you turn the winding mechanism, do you hear the rotor / flywheel turning? Caution: Do not force anything if you are not sure.

iabounty 8 Posted November 29, 2008 (edited) When my asian stops working I shake the hell out of her and tell her "No cleany housey, no money honey" Does the trick every time....... Seriously though, thanks for the tip Doc. I plan to buy a 7750 in the future. Good advice, may need to use it. Edited November 29, 2008 by iabounty
AllergyDoc 40 Posted December 16, 2008 Asian 7750's, at the least the ones I have tried this on, really do wind easier this way. I've tried it on my Daytonas and Big Bang King. I've noticed it also helps to hold the watch sideways with the crown up.

Silverspeed 10 Posted March 11, 2011 Will try this with my dead Daytona. Won't get my hopes up, thought. It ran for six minutes then died. Was worth a try. Bye-bye Daytona. My Daytona stopped too. I handwound it fully, pushed the start button for the chrono, slapped it in the palm of my hand till the chrono started running and by that the movement started too.....has been running fine ever since
Mik 0 Posted March 11, 2011 Around 1 month ago my kid's Flat6 stopped. Since I was unable to make it run again, I took the back cover, gave a small push on the escape wheel and… it started working. It’s a bit like using a defibrillator, I guess… The result is that it still runs! IMHO it depends on the problems. I believe my watch problem was due to the lack quality of the parts. Some are not as perfect as they should. Others (like daytonas) are just to sensitive and will break with time due to design and built flaws. There was a miss-communication between him and myself on an issue in section 8. The result was him leaving, although never verified, and to this day he is truly missed. here is the thread: http://www.replica-watches-guide.com/forum...=4590&st=
