bulkwolf 0 Posted April 18, 2014 Finally decided to purchase my PAM 177n from toro. Just a questions. What is the difference between the asian 6497 and the swiss 6497. Is it worth the $170?
Steve227 0 Posted April 18, 2014 Asian is a good movement mate, I wouldn't bother (and didn't) but it's personal choice.
Time taker 5 Posted April 18, 2014 Me neither, you will not be disappointed with Asian.
mysterio 18 Posted April 18, 2014 Go with Asian, whatever that Swiss ETA is, it's most likely not.
ALE7575 24 Posted April 19, 2014 Finally decided to purchase my PAM 177n from toro. Just a questions. What is the difference between the asian 6497 and the swiss 6497. Is it worth the $170? As above said it is not worth Read in PAM GUIDE of PAM 111, more comments about this matter: "Reference PAM REVIEW-GUIDE" - Replica Search, Identification, Evaluation & Selection http://www.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/reference-pam-review-107365.html?t=107365 Talking about reps fitted with Unitas 6497 movements, please read an extract below: There are replica versions fitted with “Swiss” movements. These "Swiss" movements are not the same of the original mounted in the current gen watches. They are, at best, a "cheap Swiss" Low beat movement with a "cheap" Novodiac shock protection system instead of Incabloc and with an horrible Swan Neck, the same or worse than which you can find in the replicas. The advice is: Save your money and get the good and accurate enough Asian movement. From Dec 2012 there is a Swiss movement version (TimesShop) with a perfect Incabloc, but they are Low beat and have an horrible wrong Swan Neck typical of Noob. They are no worth in my opinion. bulkwolf 0 Posted May 4, 2014 So many beautiful straps to choose from! Haven't ordered my PAM 177n yet. Inquired with Toro a few weeks back and sadly it was OOS. Went over to TSwatch and was also OOS :( I was just wondering though. Toro's PAM (http://www.torobravos2014.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=35_52&product_id=566) and TSwatch's PAM (http://www.tswatchltd.com/noobfactory/12517-xfpn177-pam177-n-noobfactory-ti-lt-2012-ultimate-best-1-1-asian-6497.html). Are they the same? If not, who has the better rep? Thank you!

Is the crystal domed shape on the 177 or flat? And does it have AR? Who is the best TD to but from? Thanks for help
