Which SUB or DssD

Recommended Posts

Akira

I am looking for a rolex for a friend of mine

Sub or Dssd with black insert and black dial...

It should be visually as close to the gen and with a reliable movement as you can get for less than 200 usd

I saw roberts Dssd with ceramic bezel which looked really nice imo.

Maybe you know more

thanks

You can get a ceramic sub with an ETA clone for less then $200 from just about any dealer. A DSSD will run you in the $250-300 range, but it is insanely close to gen

BKLM's DSSD or wm9 v3. Around four hundred dollars for the dssd and over six for the wm9 v3. Worth every penny.

A Second vote for BK's DSSD. Just amazing! Well worth the extra few dollars.

I have heared that BK's must be amazing...for me it would be 1st choice,

but he is not much in reps and just wants a rolex which is reliable and has to

be thus close to the gen that not anybody can indentify it as a rep while he wears it.

As i said less than 200 usd i ment like 175$ or sth.

Has anyone bought Roberts Ceramic Sub for 135$?

It looks great but i dont know about the movement.

thanks so far

Robert's budget DSSD is a superb watch - if you want to keep it cheap, that's as good as it gets.

Ive seen and wore BK's DSSD that Skintrade bought and believe me its one hell of a watch. personally its out of my budget but if it were me I would be looking for the very same watch unmodded so its worth considering pushing your budget up around $300 you will not regret it!

I don't mean to 'rain on your parade' but it seems that your friend has some unrealistic expectations.

He's 'not much into reps' but expects a $175 Rolex to be more or less like the gen. That's just not going to happen.

Not to say that you can't get a nice watch, but you should not expect perfection. Have fun.

How to order from BK? Does he have a website? Accepts paypal?

I was about to answer you and explain how to get in touch with BK, but when I went to BK's profile, I saw that you have already sent him a PM. I ordered from him on Monday and received my watch on Friday, $390.00 total, and the DSSD is beautiful! Runs great, looks great, and as someone else said...worth every penny. He only does Paypal which is very easy. The other thing I like is that he is in the US (California). I was impressed in how fast the watch got to me as I am clear across in Virginia. One thing...he is on a trip. He told me that if I could get him the money ASAP, he could send it to me ASAP, before he went on his trip...and he has them in stock. He's as good as his word. I believe he will be gone for 2 or 3 weeks. Be patient...that's the name of the game. Good luck!
