2 month old Breitling problem

Recommended Posts

LeighJ

I bought my first rep, Breitling Blackbird from Mary 2 months ago, I noticed today whilst playing golf one of the chronology pushers had fallen off, no chance of finding it. How do I go about getting a new one, might Mary consider this as a kind of "warranty" issue?

I don't want to seem to be taking the piss by asking her, I appreciate it's a rep and they do have problems.

I'm sure Mary would be happy to get you a new pusher or have it repaired if you sent it to her. Customer satisfaction is part of her job.

No doubt I would ask Mary about send ing it to her for repairs.

This happens alot- I'm sure Mary will sort it out for you.

But you may need to send it back for repairs.

I wouldn't say it happens alot! Mary's probably got the best reputation for QC and reliability but I agree, definitely contact her and try to get it repaired.

@ Ska: I didn't mean to Mary only. I meant its fairly common for any rep chrono pusher

to fall off.

Thanks for the feedback, I've jsut checked my paypal I've only had it 6 weeks.

Mary has said she will contact the factory to see if they will sell her a new pusher.

So my question to the more knowledgeable folks on here, am I within my “rights†to ask for a new watch, I don’t know how to fit a new pusher or anyone that could do it for me?

Don't worry about installing it. It just screws into the case. I would suggest putting a little dab of Loc-Tite on it so it doesn't happen again. (Google Loc-Tite, if you're not familiar with it)

Or you could take it to a local watch smith and he'd do it for less than the cost of sending it back to China, I would think.
