I thought these 2 pictures give a good comparison of the quality, at least in the finishing, of the two different movements.

I've noticed my UPO, which was stated as being an Asian clone, seems to be a bit rougher and looser when adjusting the time/winding when compared to my gen ETA's. It maybe a lack of lube but after seeing those pics it's probably bad manufacturing/finishing...
