KBH 7 Posted February 1, 2009 I thought these 2 pictures give a good comparison of the quality, at least in the finishing, of the two different movements.
greg_r 83 Posted February 1, 2009 very interesting, KBH. I'm assuming that the top one is the gen?
alphakazi 0 Posted February 1, 2009 looks that way, the finishing on the gear wheels look pretty ruff in comparison

greg_r 83 Posted February 1, 2009 phew! Glad I got that right - would've been a serious loss of cred
sconehead 5 Posted February 1, 2009 Did you have any cred to loose Greg? I've noticed my UPO, which was stated as being an Asian clone, seems to be a bit rougher and looser when adjusting the time/winding when compared to my gen ETA's. It maybe a lack of lube but after seeing those pics it's probably bad manufacturing/finishing...

KBH 7 Posted February 3, 2009 Thx KBH You're welcome and welcome to the forum. I see it's your first post. Be careful of the degenerates around here. They'd rather talk about skanky women than watches.
