IgnitionDream 0 Posted May 28, 2014 Noticed several TD have included new reps with ST2555 with a better price tag than the ones with A7750. My question is: is the Seagull ST2555 inferior or less reliable? Price differences are as much as $100 USD between reps. I have several non chrono reps with the A7750 without any problems. ...any personal experiences you would like to share?
mysterio 18 Posted May 29, 2014 I have a PAM388 with the seagull movement. Runs as soon as I give it a quick shake.
IgnitionDream 0 Posted May 30, 2014 So it's Safe to pull the trigger on a watch with Seagull?
fatarms 7,777 Posted May 30, 2014 In reference to the PAM505, From this thread: http://www.rwg.bz/bo...showtopic=67435 More reliable is Seagull but A7750 is good enough Segull is also more noisy and the version V1 which is the one fitted with Seagull have more problems in Lug screws V2 version with A 7750 is more silent and have less problems in lug screws, but this is not assured Get more info in PAM guide "Reference PAM REVIEW-GUIDE" - Replica Search, Identification, Evaluation & Selection http://www.replica-w...5.html?t=107365 As always in reps there is no absolute answer and you will need to take you own decision Good luck ALE
<RJ> 0 Posted May 30, 2014 Id chose any movement over the a7750 that does the same thing to the same or lower price.

IgnitionDream 0 Posted May 30, 2014 (edited) Thanks for the input. Interested in the KW PAM312 O series and recently noticed there's a V2 out with Seagull and with better price than KW V1 w/A7750. Looks like a no brainer. Will go for the Seagull Edited May 30, 2014 by IgnitionDream

Glaude 1,615 Posted December 23, 2018 Talk about necroposting, a bump on a post from 2014 ... Posting your question everywhere in every thread won't get you a faster answer... Just open a new topic in there and ask your question with all the info you have (model, maker, etc...)https://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?/forum/11-watch-repair-upgrade-reference/
