Asian or swiss, pretty much bombproof.

 

The design is decades old so it clearly works well!

 

Don't worry about getting one. Worst of the worst case you can get a new Asian 6498 for about $35 :)

Pretty much bomb-proof. Along with the 6497 it's one of the most reliable movements found in reps :thumbsup2:

I'm trying to get a hold of Mary, but no success..

 

I will ask for the Railmaster with 6498 movement and a sapphire glass.

She told me that she has only with mineral glass on stock, but I understood that ska ordered one with a sapphire glass from her.

so now I'm trying to find out if she can deliver one like ska's watch (I really hope she can, because I really want one!!)

 

At least I secure about the movement..

6497/8 was used in pocket watches. In your POCKET!

It has a huge balance spring. Its robust as hell!

Best movement ever made!
