I opened the back of my Breit Blackbird....oh dear!

Tired line but true "upon getting a watch have it serviced/ looked over by a smith" just the cost of doing biz................

 

Wouldn't have made much difference in this case, it arrived like this

All epoxy resins have VOC's (Volatile Organic Compounds) and so give off fumes that I would'nt want near a watch movement TBH.

No glue. You can either pull the movement ring out, tap the hole and replace the screw/tab or put the case back on and be done with it. If the dial is moving around when you set the date/time or operate the chrono's, you will need to address the issue sooner rather than later. If this is new from a TD, see if they can send you a replacement movement holder ring and screw. That would be the ideal resolution.

Thanks guys.....I'll put the glue away!!!!! It all feels tight, no movement when I set the time and as it's a 7750 I don't use the chrono's ha ha.
