I've purchased this interesting movement

Hi guys!

I just managed to buy this watch, a real bargain. The thought came to me that maybe a transplant could be done - putting the movement it in a rep. Since I dont know jack about movements I figured I can live with the loss if it turns out being junk.

Seeking guidance! All help appreciated.

Does this pic show what type of movement it is?

Its a manual and I guess its a gen Swiss.

Does the TDs carry any great reps that is a little bit smaller, ie 36mm? I am open for ideas. What would you do?

All the best

I'm not great at identifying movements but it looks like it has an ETA stamp and a movement type stamped under the balance wheel. Just where you;d expect it to be. Just can't make out what it is in the pic.

Markings look like 1750...such a movement does exist... Is it a crono?

Educated guess once seclark had identified the X750 moniker and the fact it was a manual movement.
