time_keeper 0 Posted June 17, 2014 Hey everyone, was bored in the day today and got caught up watching the Lifetime channel (I know what am I doing with my life) I digress. Anyway someone bought in a AP ROO, no papers just box, the owner of the shop inspected it with an eye loupe and ended up paying him $5k for it only to later find out it was a rep. I know a lot of these shows are staged for TV but it just shows how good the quality of these reps are, fooling people who may not be AP experts but must have handled thousands of watches in their time! Anyone else seen this episode? I'm sure there must be a clip of it on eBay somewhere. In the end he could only tell it was a rep by running the serial number through a website designed to check if it's not genuine. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
