Greg's collection v. 3 (aka so I had to buy another watchbox)

Recommended Posts

... so I bought another watchbox. A small-ish one this time, as I'm still trying to convince myself that I'm not going to buy any more watches (after the two that are incoming, of course). Denial ain't only a river in Egypt, folks....

Anyhow, since the last time I did one of these (about 18 months ago), there have been a few additions and a few subtractions. This is how it looks at the moment:

1. Panerai Box - Fiddys, 6154s and my one and only remaining Radiomir:

2: More Panerais and a couple of other larger watches. The empty space is already spoken for....

3: My main watchbox - this also has a lower drawer which currently holds my wife's watches and I've not bothered to photograph that. Gens at the front (plus a small overflow on the right hand side). Mostly reps on the back row.

At least I've now got ALL my watches stored in these rather than having a handful of individual boxes scattered around. The dangerous bit is the couple of empty spaces. I have a feeling they won't last long

 No, I don't have a 6152. I like my 6154s but they don't get a lot of wear, so I've decided to leave it there with the whole vintage thing... ;)

Very nice collection there - loving the seikos.

Seems like you never did do the fff mod? The originals are just too nice!

More watches than days in the month, nice!

Next goal... enough watches so you can rotate them enough to only wear one a season.

Yes I did, that's a blue FFF in there (second from last pic, bottom row in the middle). I kept my snzh57 as is, though...

Nice collection boss....... just one suggestion - you are aware that modern watch boxes have slots wide enough for modern watch diameters I trust? Or do you like the up and down look? ;)

Great collection Greggers. Really torn on my next gen as I'm thinking hard on the Hydroconquest. Any regrets on that purchase?

Great collection Greg! Love the look of the Seiko (next to to the Black Monster) with the black shroud. What model is that please and any chance of a closer look and/or some details of the strap it's on? :)

Also, is that 2 x Blue SOH!?

The first of 'em is in the second pic. The KW version is on the way...

The Seiko is an SRP231 'baby tuna.' They were a limited edition - picked mine up last year. The strap is an aftermarket one from Fluco. I got it from here: http://www.watch-ban...p-22mm-bro.html

Yes, I have two blue SOH. A v2 on the OR band and a v2.5/v3 on mesh.

There are a few notable watches missing from your collection boss. No 16610, or any rolex sport models, really. I'm digging the vintage Daytona though. Can you tell us about it?

sweet collection Greg!!!

Where's the new bronzo? :D

It's in the bottom row in the middle right there. The strap looks really nice, what kind is it?
