What happens if Daytona seconds at 6 breaks

I have a rose gold black sub-dial version for almost 3 years. No issues until recently where the power reserve stated shortening considerably. I sent it off the the 7750 slayer (kevin) and he is replacing the main spring and a few other things. I only wore the watch for special occasions, its not a daily beater. So its all in how you use it IMHO.
