austinsom 47 Posted July 2, 2014 I was trawling the bay the other night, and saw this. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/291179722684?redirect=mobile At first glace I thought it looked OK, then I noticed the mismatched hands, and on the back view a 21j. The rotor looks plain wrong (I'm sure Longines put the cal. On the rotor). Those are also clearly not chrono dials Maybe I should make an offer for the movement! austinsom 47 Posted July 5, 2014 Oh dear, it has a bid, so someone is going to get stuck with this travesty :(
trailboss99 996 Posted July 5, 2014 Not even close to a good fake.

austinsom 47 Posted July 5, 2014 Hmmm, not good. I have sent a message so we shall see what he/she does. Although the fact that the boxes were 'lost' does not fill me with confidence. Feedback is higher than most who sell duff watches. Just in case people aren't sure what it is trying to be - it seems to be imitating this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/STAINLESS-STEEL-LONGINES-MASTER-COLLECTION-CHRONO-AUTOMATIC-WRISTWATCH-L2-629-4/371082793845?_trksid=p5411.c100167.m2940&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140131123730%26meid%3D8105971048481398646%26pid%3D100167%26prg%3D20140131123730%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D291179722684
austinsom 47 Posted July 5, 2014 No response to my message, and still there. Someone is going to be very sick the first time they try the chrono. This needs reporting by others ASAP :(

J!m 289 Posted July 6, 2014 That's funny! The rotor is a rep 3135 one with crap glued on it! This is a mess. Maybe the case could be used for some other project...
mulder 0 Posted July 7, 2014 Says on my eBay that it sold for £325 and it had two bids. So they allow this auction to run till the end yet they ended one of my auctions early because someone said I pinched their photos from a similar auction.
