Breitling introduces a new limited edition Blackbird chronograph featuring high contrast red accents – aka the Breitling Blackbird Red Strike. Even the date is in red and it looks awesome! The overall contrast of black and red is spectacular! The watch is available on polished or satin-finished metal. Production is limited (by Breitling’s standards) to 2,000 pieces. I REALLY like this watch... anyone know of any places to buy this in a good rep? or the very similar limited edition B01 version, not sure of the name of it. I like these also because these limited models have the clear caseback as well.

I got one from Mary last spring although the date fonts are white not red. Give her a shout and see if she can still get you one. I see that some of the other TD's show them as well.

Have you seen any with the red dates? Also, how much does one run from Mary shipped to the US? i'm really new to this, but LOVING this site!!! Need to learn more about these watches, what's good, what's bad, what to look for, what to stay away from etc... Anyone have a really good run down on all of this? I live in Florida!

Can't remember how much for sure, but I think it was around $400 with EMS shipping.

Haven't seen a rep with the red date yet.

Thanks Rod! So then if not a good quality red strike, I'd rather settle for a really good quality blackbird big date. Any good leads for one of those? I want a quality rep with good parts and a good band. What's a reasonable price range for this? Do any of these have sapphire crystals, or do all of them? I'm really new! Sorry for possible stupid questions!

I would suggest you contact some of the TD's here and see what they can source for you. Send pictures of what you are looking for and be quite specific of your wants. Most of them are very good about trying to source what you want. I have had good luck with Mary at Watchinternational but I am sure that others will do a good job as well.
