Just picked up a nice watch on da Bay.

For less than the cost of an Eta movement.

Movement looks clean and so does the watch.

Oh now that's nice! Very, very nice.

Do it a favour and buy it a decent strap.

So do I. I'm thinking a rep TT Jubilee or one of my Hirsch straps.

Is that 38mm KBH? I've picked up a few Tissots for buttons in the past just for the ETA movements...

36 mm excluding the crown. Same as a DJ.

I'd have bought this one just for the movement. Somewhere I heard that the silver ones actually are made in Switzerland and the gold in the Philippines. Anybody else know about that?.

I doubt if I'll be able to bring myself to turning it into a donor movement though. I'm tempted to have the case gold plated and get a gold presidential bracelet.

Must admit, I felt a bit bad about pulling a gold plated Seastar to bit's once...
