fusion 0 Posted July 12, 2014 (edited) So this was kind of interesting. My sister does estate sales and was taking inventory for one she's about to do for someone who collected Accutron watches. Some are still new in the box (with original paperwork), while others are just in great shape. Sorry about the photo quality as there was little light and less space with which to work. Interesting lot.Thought you might get a kick out it. Edited July 12, 2014 by fusion

fusion 0 Posted July 12, 2014 That's pretty cool! How many did you pocket? As I said, there was little light. No pitch black. Got away with nothing.
SSTEEL 0 Posted July 12, 2014 Some nice tuning forks there!
Kcore 0 Posted July 12, 2014 Very cool! Some of the vintage skeletons ( 2 in the last pic) like the Astronaut and Spaceviews are desireable collector pieces with good resale value.
fusion 0 Posted July 12, 2014 Some nice tuning forks there! Yeah,I remember owning one back in the 70's when I could still hear high pitched sounds. I can remember the humming. Now of course I hear the same humming all the time without the watch.

fusion 0 Posted July 12, 2014 Yep, 40 years from now, someone will be digging through our shit, looking at all the watches and thinking we were pretty odd too.
