debian 0 Posted September 26, 2010 I will soon have a submariner, I will of course need a James Bond style nato strap. What is the different between G10 and RAF style nato strap? What type is it James Bond is using? or is the strap below a nato strap at all... And why doesn't he use a one with proper width? :cheerleader2:
sm1rf 0 Posted September 26, 2010 it's my understanding that the NATO strap is the 4 ring design with the strap feeding above and below the lugs like this g10 strap the RAF strap is virtually the same however only goes through the lugs on one side like this raf strap
speedzmaster 0 Posted September 27, 2010 Mr. Bond used a RAF strap. He's British, after all! Are you also going to set your watch to perpetually indicate 12:19:58?
debian 0 Posted September 27, 2010 Mr. Bond used a RAF strap. He's British, after all! Are you also going to set your watch to perpetually indicate 12:19:58? In the the movie mr bonds watch is actually a running watch, so it will change the time from frame to frame... It would be to much hard work to have the watch synchronized with mr bond.
