Looks great, lovely build.

Wasn't aware there are 2 versions of 702 crowns... Just thought it was his 8mm offering.

The 8mm is the Brevet for big crowns.

I meant there is a v1 and v2 8mm brevet, but didn't know there was a v1and v2 702.

Ah Gotcha. Picked it up from someone on HF when I first joined here. Only seen his V2's since then.

Having worked on this exact case now, I bow down to your CG shaping skills.

Mine needs more work to get it to a pointier end.

Have a atheya set on the way as well.

Overall though the cartel case is not bad. Esp if you're planning on doing a 5512 build.

Again, amazing work. Makes me wanna work on mine but I don't think im gonna touch it again until the new crown and tube gets here.

Did the atheya tube go in without retapping? Adrian says they do and I'm hoping this is the case bc I don't have the right taps. :(

Thanks guys! I certainly regret selling this. I may have to PM Stormy if she does decide to let go.

Yup, the CG's are a pain on the cartels. Unless your doing a pre65 pointy crown 5513, then they're perfect. You have to come down on the side profile and swing out without creating an angle. Very much a pain in the ass. On this one, I made the tube entrance profile a bit shorter by sanding it out some. It helps elongate the crown guards. I countersunk it a bit only for that reason. Otherwise his tubes go in without much effort. Just go easy on the last couple threads going in or it's very prone to snap.
