They are a 'factory' in China that produces many reps. They are famous for the Rolex line, but

also make many other watches including PAM, Ulysse Nardin, Tag's, etc.

No they are not!

They were a group of importers in Bangkok who made only Rolex subs and YM in the main.

They have since stopped although one of them still makes subs but they are not exactly the same as the original noobfactory submariners.

All these new products from the Noobfactory are a nonsense

But the answers you will get about this will be like the book of revaluations the actual truth and concise answer is the one I have given you

As PWC says, do NOT believe any claim about Noobfactory items, they were only available thru' a small number of dealers ALL based in Thailand, Maria (MBW), TTK, Narikaa, I can't speak for PWC 'cos I've never seen any of his products, but I would assume he has / had access to them also.

When you see other ( primarily Chinese ) dealers claiming their products are 'Noobfactory', they are lying, they are simply trying to cash in on the market awareness of these original products from Thailand suppliers.

The term Noobmariner was coined by Pugwash as a descriptive term for the Rolex 166610 that TTK introduced to the forums way back in 2004, which at the time was the best 'value' 166610 you could buy, the 166610LV and Yachtmaster were also regarded as the best available. .

The term 'Noobfactory' has absolutely no association with those products and is simply a marketing ploy.

Narikaa to the best of my knowledge is the only concurrent supplier of original Noobmariners.

For newer members who may not have seen them, I've included some of TTK's photos of these original Noobmariner / Noobfactory items that he and Narikaa ( MBW also ) sold.

slkylucifer,

There was no 166610 or 166610LY in 2004, or ever. Some people like to keep the buyers as confused about this 'myth' as possible.

Trust what Robert at Prestige Watch Company said, he is a proven trusted dealer here and knows what he's talking about.

From Rolex Reference page.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Model: Submariner - 50th Anniversary Edition

Reference: 16610 LV (Lunette Verde)

Series: D

Movement: Rolex Caliber 3135

Water Resistance: 1000 ft./300 m.

Case: 904L grade Stainless steel.

Crystal: Synthetic sapphire

Notes: The Submariner 16610 LV, or "Lunette Verde" was issued in 2004 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Rolex Submariner, arguably the greatest diver watch ever created, and certainly the most famous. While initially thought to be a limited edition model, the LV Submariner has remained in production since its introduction. There are only cosmetic differences between the LV Submariner, and the regular black bezel counterpart - the bezel color, markers, and hands are the only difference. The LV Submariner uses the Rolex "Maxi Dial" large size hands and markers, first introduced on the Yacht-Master. I purchased my LV Submariner in the Summer of 2005 and sold it a short time thereafter. While it was a fantastic watch to wear casually, I never thought the green bezel looked good with a suit, which I wear daily.

Review of the 50th Anniversary Submariner - article I wrote which appeared in CHRONOS magazine, issue #53.

A Tutorial On Using The Rolex Oyster Dive Suit Extension

Don't let this know-nothing bawbag confuse you with his not so hidden agenda, there WAS a 16610 LV in 2004., the 166610 number in my post was simply a typo.

There was no 166610 or 166610LY in 2004, or ever.

Correct, it was a 16610 LV. not an LY, there you go bawbag, I've corrected YOUR typo. B)

And Robert maybe a trusted dealer, but like you, he wasn't here when they were first introduced, and the relevant topic was Noobfactory not LV 16610's or even 166610's !

Not here maybe Baldrick but in Bangkok and dealing in watches 10 years before TTK ever came to Thailand.

There are only 2 places that carried the Noob factory watches and they were family to each other.

One was a girl called Lucky and the other is a brother in law to her anyone else bought them through these people.

The main suppliers in Bangkok don't carry them because they are around $15 more to buy.

So all the TTK pictures in the world will not alter the fact that they are no longer produced in the original form and are now only available with rehault engraving and not strictly speaking a noob factory item because the guy that has them is the only member of the noobfactory still involved

spam the board some more baldrick ;)

And that is spam why, exactly?

Where do people get the idea that NF ever produced anything but Rolex? I have had it out with two dealers in the past week over this.

They honestly do believe they have NF Pams, someone in GZ is telling the dealers porkpies and most of 'em know little or nothing about rep history.

I have one of the Narikaa Noobs here as well as one of Robert's noobs and they do appear to be the same watch. The only thing closer to a gen 16610 I have seen is a WM9.

The 'Y' instead of a 'V' is a typo. You posted the wrong number the same way several times, that's no typo. Some 'expert' know-it-all.

You're the lying sack of shit with the obvious agenda, cunt.

Give it a rest, I think Balders knows the correct designation for a Sub somehow.

Read his post. It's condescending and misleading bullshit complete with someone else's pictures of someone else's watches. Or not.

All he states in that post is 100% correct AFIK mate, what do you consider to be misleading?

I'm begining to think there is some factory in GZ calling themselves "noobfactory"

It ain't THE noobfactory tho, rest assured of that.

Reminds me of a town in post war Japan that was re-named Usa (pronounced you-sa) so they could stamp goods "Made in USA"

I think the same kind of deception is going on here.

This would be the third time you are taking sides. Is this one as admin too?

If he knew the designation he would have posted it right at least once, don't you think?

What he states in that post is 100% something, but not correct according to Robert's post, and I don't know what the fuck "AFIK" is.

We just had this subject in a thread 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Tell that to the guy who started, and always starts, the personal attacks.
