streethawk 0 Posted August 21, 2014 So I have a TC Sub with 2813. This morning I was getting ready to wear it and setting the date with the crown pulled out once, it moved a couple of dates then suddenly the crown stopped engaging the date wheel. Now I cant change the date without pulling the crown out twice to the time setting mode and moving the time 100 times!!! how do I fix this? I love my watch :(
jdog 1 Posted August 21, 2014 Def. sucks. BTW...TC doesn't put 2813's in his subs. Only clone eta's I believe.
SSTEEL 0 Posted August 21, 2014 TC don't put Z2 movements in his watches. Why has your TC sub got a POS Clone movement in it anyway? The date function is one of its shortcomings, well documented.
Mariner89 0 Posted August 21, 2014 why does a TC have a 2813?
streethawk 0 Posted August 21, 2014 Well I bought the watch from a forum member and thats what I am told.
Left Coast Guy 24 Posted August 21, 2014 Maybe its not a TC sub....
streethawk 0 Posted August 21, 2014 I would like to fix this? Maybe its not a TC sub.... True and that will be something I will speak to the seller about.

jdog 1 Posted August 21, 2014 Photos would help us, help you. This^^^^^ If it came from Thomas there's no way its a POS 2813. Either clone or PO fucked something up.
Bigdav13 0 Posted August 21, 2014 The my only grip with reps one day the movement could just pack up or not function as yours has, for the price compared to gen tho i suppose its a risk wrth taking Hope its an easy fix for you mate
SSTEEL 0 Posted August 21, 2014 Who did you buy it from? A member here?

streethawk 0 Posted August 21, 2014 ok thanks for pointing out, I like the overall watch except that this is actually the first time I attempted to wear it and I have this issue already. bummer indeed!
SSTEEL 0 Posted August 21, 2014 Thats a Ceramic sub for a start, and Thomas currently does not make this model, but I believe he may at some point. How much did you pay? Looks like a BP sub, or possibly a Noob.
Stuvetjee 17 Posted August 21, 2014 Could you show us the M2M thread from the seller?
streethawk 0 Posted August 21, 2014 (edited) I did not pay much, my first contact with the seller was pleasant and I don't want to link the seller at this time. Can you highlight how a ceramic sub is different from a regular sub, what are the tell tale signs that you are using to identify that this is a BP or noob? just so I know what to look for next time. Help much appreciated. Edited August 21, 2014 by streethawk
jdog 1 Posted August 21, 2014 TC does the earlier version of the Rolex sub. Metal insert, smaller CG's, no rehault engraving among many other differences. You can search BP vs. Noob sub and will find many threads with many comparisons, pro's, and cons.
streethawk 0 Posted August 21, 2014 Ok now I am having some communication difficulties with the seller. Do I have the right to request a refund if I was sold the watch as a TC and it turns out that the sellers claim is false?

black263 228 Posted August 21, 2014 Like buying from a TD, it's not yet the time to go public with full details. Since Del is now offering to get involved, can I suggest that we leave the OP and Del to sort it out in the time honoured fashion. We can then look forward to a full update, when Del is happy that nothing more can or needs to be done.
