hello my friends,

got my new got my new omega railmaster XXL with the 6498 movement from Mary two day ago (pics soon).

i have an annoying problem, that every time i take it off my hand after a few hours it stops, so i need to turn the crown to wind it and then set the time..

so when i go to sleep at night and i get up in the morning i need to turn the crown to wind it and then set the time again..

is this OK or there is a problem with the watch?

Hi - sorry if this is an obvious question, are you aware that the 6498 movement is not automatic and will require a full wind (about 30 turns) every couple of days. It has no rotor and will not wind simply by the movement of your arm when you're wearing it.

when you reach about 30 turns or so, you will feel resistance......stop at that moment and enjoy your watch
