debian 0 Posted October 11, 2010 I wanted to place bid on but when I looked closer it might not be gen. Why I'm having doubt is that it is crappy picture and also the pearl doesn't look centered... I don't know if it is because the picture is to blurry. But usually the swiss Omega factory have more skillz in getting the pearl centered than the Chinese rep factories. What do you guys think about it?

jmd33 0 Posted October 11, 2010 (edited) Looks WAY gen to me (gen hands, proper He, bright date font, etc...). Even if the pearl is off center (which may just be the pic) it could always be an aftermarket insert on a gen watch (re-sellers do that all the time to freshen up the watch). On Ebay, I'd always pick the seller before the watch. Just because of the pic is a gen doesn't mean you'll get what's pictured. You caould always ask him for a serial # and email Omega. Just my $.02 Edited October 11, 2010 by jmd33
greg_r 81 Posted October 11, 2010 The watch may be gen, but with that amount of blur, the camera ain't!!! No way to tell for sure - request better pics.

NFleischer 4,355 Posted October 11, 2010 Agree- why would someone post such a crappy picture?? Also agree- if its a rep; wouldn't mind having one.
