Thought about the 39mm 2010 Explorer 1? They're lovely :thumbsup2: and I'm lost without mine while it's being serviced!

Both the listed ones are nice though, can't really go wrong with either :)

normally i would opt for the datejust... but this one has a smooth bezel, i prefer the fluted bezel.

so my vote goes to the explorer

How big is your wrist?

If you have a small wrist I would go with the DJ id you have a big wrist then with the explorer

You're probably right about that Dingle. But those real gold gen bezels just flash so much out in the sun. Especially the white gold ones.

ooh, really? The new one?

I didn't think it was out yet!

I think it's probably the only gen rolex I'd buy - having had the rep it really is completely versatile with none of the associated usual 'ohhh, it's a submariner...' and everything that comes with it :) :)

I prefer the DJ. I like having the date and I actually like the cyclops.

I know that the explorer is closer to the gen. because of its simplicity. but how close to the gen. do you think the datejust will be?
