To me, the most important thing we ever wear is our "expression" Does she smile? IMHO...It's not the face of the watch that matters, but the expression on our face. I personally shy away from looking at the 7750 because I have read that they are fragile and perhaps dangerous to wind, and subject to problems. I don't know much about watches, but some members say they are durable. I am not someone who will pull the back off of a watch and oil it upon receipt, and I read somewhere that this is important. I am sure you will get great suggestions from the members here who are very knowledgeable. Advice?... rather...suggestions to consider....As far as the GF...if she is already looking at an "I told you so..." outcome, then I would suggest you consider something that is bulletproof.
