Aviator 1 Posted November 9, 2014 I'm 99% sure it's a rep. Look at the sunken DW carefully hidden behind the hands... And the subdials spacing is off, as the rep Navi 01 is http://www.ebay.com/itm/Breitling-Ch...item4189b52ba4 Somebody please inform Ebay.
Takken 0 Posted November 9, 2014 Not sure thats a rep
g.man 0 Posted November 9, 2014 It's not a watch I know much about, but a little research does indeed suggest the sub-dial spacing is incorrect. I'm sure some of the Breitling experts will chirp in soon enough.
HeavyKrush 16 Posted November 9, 2014 Agree, the sub dial spacing does look off. The slide rule bezel on the other hand looks spot on and is usually not that good on a rep.
Aviator 1 Posted November 10, 2014 This kind of spacing was on the Navi's that had white datewheels. Look at the 01 Rep pics, you'll se its Identical to this watch. I'm confident it's a rep.
Daytona_Dreamer 0 Posted November 10, 2014 I would never buy from Ebay any item over a grand. Maybe if the seller had a dedicated website, then maybe. Having said that, when you look at what this seller has in their store, it would be odd for them to sell a rep. They have a $30,000 bottle of Dom Perignon for sale along with other high end items. And they have sold watches at $20,000 and $25,000. They also have only positive feedback, if you can believe their satisfied customers. But at the end of the day, you just never know. They may believe it to be gen when it is not.
Gazzla 23 Posted November 10, 2014 Subdials look too big. I'd say rep.

Stuvetjee 17 Posted November 10, 2014 (edited) date looks spot on from what i can see. no ''sunken'' effect. But im a total noob when it comes to Breitling :P Edited November 10, 2014 by Stuvetjee
kennycoder 97 Posted November 10, 2014 It's a 100% rep on a gen bracelet. Sunken DW, incorrect spacing for this exact model (incorrect movement) and the ruler lines don't touch the dial.

kennycoder 97 Posted November 10, 2014 My navi 01 rep (sold now): DW doesn't look sunken, but it is. It's black on black effect that helps a lot
Aviator 1 Posted November 10, 2014 (edited) Thanks Kenny I was suspicious from the first moment I saw this on ebay... As for other items, for example a Vintage Dom Perignon bottle... For those who buy items like this only for purpose of showing off, and not being a Sommelier, somebody can rep and artificially age front sticker with date, but the real thing being a 2004 Dom for couple of 140€... And the buyer wouldn't dream about him being pumped from behind and somebody having just made 29.500 USD... Maybe the seller is legit and he doesn't even know it's a rep... But probably does... Sometimes they get away with it, somebody buys the watch from a reputable seller and the watch never sees service... Paparolf 45 Posted November 10, 2014 If no box or papers would not touch. why? If I was going to spend 5K on any watch I would want history, where it was originally bought from and original papers. Without these I would not be sure if it was gen or stolen.
Paparolf 45 Posted November 10, 2014 Wouldent buy a car with no service history. Same issue.

Takken 0 Posted November 10, 2014 Is it just the light on the pic or does the sub dials hands on the watch look like they are black? Ask the seller for a movement pic or two.
Cheesemonger 0 Posted November 11, 2014 Bracelet pins bother me as well. Some too sunken and these are usually more flush with the side of the bracelet. And the caseback has the "right Breit scratch" in the center.
