Wow nice article, thanks Mark. Now you have me really anxious, shit.

I found this doing a search on deep divers, didn't realize it was so close to the DSS.

Cool looking piece of horological praise to a legend....... :) Congrats

Just like the original, this is not a dive watch. Thats a fact.

It's a watch capable of descending to depths only accessible by 3-4 submarines in the world. Its a "because we can" - technical creation......and there is nothing wrong with that at all.

Can't wait to see what it actually looks like on my wrist. I'm a big guy so my hopes are it works out well.

Wow--it will be cool to see the patina develop on all that bronze. Even the buckle looks badass. Nice work.

I am much to anal to allow patina at first. Lemon bath coming before i put it on!!!!

Either way--cool piece. I have one bronze watch, a pilot, so it a lot of dial and much less case than what you have. At first it looked almost rose gold. I like the less blingy patinaed look it has now.

Enjoy this one. Hope to see pics pop up in the wrist check threads soon!

Lemon bath creates dark patina,I highly suggest vinegar fuming that is one hell of a look :)
