Blue Tudor Heritage Chronograph

OK Guys,

My Blue and White (actually more beige/grey) Tudor Heritage Chronograph arrived today.

I'll give some very brief first impressions as I go, but here are some pictures: -

Firstly unpacking. It was well enough wrapped using both bubble wrap and a Jiffybag

The dial looks a little greyer than I thought, but still looks nice. There are a lot of tells on this watch, so I am not overly bothered about absolute accuracy, more the look of the piece.

What is nice is that it has both a screw down crown and pushers, which is a big improvement over the previous Quartz chrono. Also, the sweep is much better than previously. I think that it's a microstepper as the jerkiness of the previous movement isn't there.

The bracelet feels really nice and not too dissimilar to my V2 Black Bay. One noticeable difference is that there are steel ball bearings instead of ceramic in the clasp. All in all it feels really well made.

And here are some pics on a NATO strap both on the wrist and with its brother (or sister depending on how you choose to anthropomorphise your watches)

Anyway, I love it and it'll be getting plenty of wrist time :)

I'll take some decent pics with my SLR, but that's all for now.

MM338, I believe this model is exclusive to Kuvarsit Watches. They are a TD here and the watch is about $150 ish if I recall correctly.

Thanks rusty. I'm looking over the site now. Does this model come with the blue nato or do you have to order that separately?

I'll try emailing the TD sorry for my lack of common sense.

No sweat. It does not come with the nato. Go to Natostrapcompany for the strap.

The one on kuvarsit is a Quartz model. Any idea where fox got his with the sweep?

It is mecha quartz and it is the only option besides the genuine article.

I have the same watch:

Only Kuvarsit sells it to my knowledge. Toro tried to get it for me and couldn't. And Fox doesn't have a different "sweep" model - there is only a quartz version. The only "sweep" he could be referring to is the chrono hand.

That is one of the coolest looking watches I've ever seen.

I just ordered one. Is the nato size 20mm for this model?

I was indeed referring to the Chrono, as all other hands are parked :)

Whilst it's no 7750 or ST19, it is more of a sweep than the one second "jumps" on a non-microstepper quartz

I was indeed referring to the Chrono, as all other hands are parked unless the chrono is active.

one of the best looking chronos ever. Still crossing fingers that they come out with a super rep or at least a automatic movement version. I'd be overjoyed to be found wrong and someone direct me to a TD site that has an auto.
