boneyjr 1 Posted December 1, 2014 Over the last few years on the forum, I have owned quite a few reps. During this time my watch strategy has changed a bit. That is to say, I am aiming more towards quality than quantity. With the goal of having 5-6 high-end pieces, my latest acquisition will have a firm, longstanding place at the table. The pics below are of a V6 TC Submariner with a genuine insert, genuine crystal (with LEC) and ETA movement (H4 cannon pinnion) all installed by BK. This also comes with BK's V4 date wheel overlay -- it is spot on. I have been comparing this rep to the genuine 2005/06 model, and I cannot find a single tell; its that good. The craftsmanship is superb, even down to the bracelet screws; they are a perfect fit. And more than any other rep, this bracelet has that gen 'sheen' to it. Naturally this was a high dollar investment, but I really couldn't be happier. Enjoy the pics. This was not an easy shot to get. The LEC's on a gen crystal are tricky little buggers to spot. Kwt 11 Posted December 1, 2014 Superb mate, my one says hello. Like you say the watch is that good and you have made it even better. I am afraid to say that when I wear the TC, I have the "yeah I am wearing a real Rolex" syndrome. Enjoy.
