Vintage Tudor submariner

Hey guys, been a while since I posted a build so thought I'd drop this one in. Few pics only but pleased with this one. Started as a cartel case which I picked up on another forum, dial was laughable as the Tudor shield was so off centre! Anyhow picked up a Yuki from my good friend Bennykwa and he had aged and lumed both the dial and hands made a cracking job. I removed the bezel and insert and softened/aged the case not too much as when you gen compare it's surprising how little ageing is needed. I've seen people go over the top with this and it's just wrong. Anyway slight narrowing on the lugs and then bezel insert gently aged. I had to epoxy the bezel carefully back into place. Sourced a Swiss 2846 low beat as per gen and away she went. On a NATO at the moment but may make a leather strap for this one. May have to do something with the pearl yet but hey pics anyway.

Very cool. A blue snowflake is high on my want list, I just haven't figured out what options to go with yet.

Not too sure rick , picked it up from a guy in Canada. Dial that came with it, what a laugh. Case is nice though. Came out well I reckon.

Get on the maxi chat bro. Nice one.
