NOOB CRPO Planet Ocean Upgrade Help

I have acquired a gen ETA 2892-A2 (New Old Stock), I intend to fit this into my NOOB 42mm CRPO, this currently has a A2836-2.

 

I understand I will likely need a new movement ring due to the thickness difference between the two movements, and I am guessing this will have to be the one from the earlier non Ceramic PO.

 

I also assume being a ETA movement the hands should switch right over, I am thinking to get a set of Gen hands instead , they are very cheap (£30) again if I do they will need to be the older non ceramic hands or at least the seconds hand will.

 

 

If anyone can offer any sound advice that would be appreciated.
