jojo8989 0 Posted November 12, 2010 Hey Everyone, i discovered what will be my next purchase and my first good rolley rep purchase. I want to get a swiss eta two tone gold and blue sub. I looked at the ceramic ones and no offense to anyone who owns one but that light blue with the gold looks hideous. Replica make has this one: http://www.replicamake.com/product_info.ph...products_id=472 - But it is Asian 2834 - $288 Lawrence: http://houseofsouvenirs.com/rolex/submarin...erswiss_019.htm $265 swiss, engraving Mary: http://www.watch-international.com/index.p...roducts_id=2544 $309, swiss, no rehaut engraving Timeshops: http://www.timesshop.net/product.php?id_product=3738 $250 swiss w engraving I sent a message to Robert to see if he had anything better in stock. But how does the Timesshop one look? Im ordering one other watch from them so i just may do it at the same time. How does that one look to you guys? Thanks for your input! jojo8989 0 Posted November 12, 2010 Collecting watch is getting super expensive... Aint that the truth! Ive looked at BKs stuff. Just seen the ceramics, does he offer more?
Luthier 1 Posted November 12, 2010 You missed one very important point - Mary's Sub is WRAPPED gold, I bought it 2 years ago, and use it very often, no any signs of wearing. And I don't like this cheap looking rehault engraving.
jojo8989 0 Posted November 12, 2010 Ah yea i thought i chose only gold wrapped. Im going to use this as a daily beater so theres no way id use plated. So at the momento timesshops is out and lawrence doesnt specify. Anyone else have views on the engraving? Personally i could take it or leave it. Looks like replica make it nudging its way up! ha
NFleischer 4,355 Posted November 12, 2010 Here's BK's older TT blue sub. A wrapped Noob version, not sure if its available. Now he's selling the WM9 version.
alistairw 0 Posted November 12, 2010 Mary sells a lovely one, the one I bought from her is a 21J. I know she has the ETA version. Heres a link to my collection on this forum, where a pic of it can be found. http://www.replica-watches-guide.com/forum...?showtopic=9100
