I know nearly nothing about Speedmasters, but I like the caseback and dial Small edit: it looks like they've disabled the subdial at 6, so it looks more gen compared to the other Speedmaster replicas. Arism 26 Posted January 7, 2015 Subdials are still spaced too far apart; though overall it looks like a decent effort in repping the "First Omega in Space" Speedmaster. Gen below for comparison. Case back looks spot on from my eyes. This isn't a rep of the pre-moon speedy, it's a rep of a more recent homage to the pre-moons. Applied logo is correct for this particular watch, as well as no 'Professional" text below Speedmaster. IMO gen is still the route to go for the moon watch, though this would not be a bad choice, and one that might be added to my ever growing wish list. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The gen is domed sapphire like you'd get on the "sapphire sandwich" moon watch. Looks domed from the pics. Whether it is sapphire, mineral, plexi or whatever remains to be seen.
