What to declare at the customs from italy to USA

Hey folks. I am from USA. Buying a m2m from italy. Whats the safest way to ship and what to declare in customs? Any thoughts?

Its coming from europe so there is no usps there :)

Walk to the post office....mail it. Done. You don't need to do nothing special...

There's no guaranteed method of getting a M2M purchase through customs into the US or any other cross border delivery, if you're so worried about it don't buy M2M from outside CONUS

In my expereince anything shipped from europe directly to north america using a private courier company means you will get more customs scrutiny than if you use whatever country's regular mail service. For Canada, I can get something FedExed to me from Italy and get nailed with duty for sure. UPS same thing. But anything coming regular mail, even if it's tracked/insured... I've never had anything like that opened or charged duty, etc., on.

 

But thats my expereince. YMMV.
