houndoggie 58 Posted November 19, 2010 Just got this one in today. I have a few quick pics to share and a crappy iphone video. I'll be adding some better shots soon. Quick impression is that this a big, will built, and very cool. One of the better deals coming out of the affordable Chinese watch market. It's an obvious homage to the Cartier Calibre Tourbillon, and it is very nicely done. Case is well finished and heavy. The dial is finely finished and flawless. The 33 jewel Seagull movement is also nice finished and the open heart "tourbillon" is tastefully done and a sure eye catcher. Because the crystal (mineral) is flat and the dial is light, it really is hard to tell it is even there. I actually had to feel for it when I first opened the box, as a gentle probed at the dial... yep, it is there! The weak point is the strap, but that can be changed. I'll give the tail of the tape tomorrow and add more lightbox photos. But overall, this watch is very impressive and definitely worth the $. If you can pull of the size, go for it. crappy iphone vid for movement
Luthier 1 Posted November 19, 2010 Beautiful watch, doggie!!! How much?
pollux1 3 Posted November 19, 2010 That is a steal HD. It reminds me of Breguet, VC and Cartier all rolled into one. Thanks for the video too, I've never seen a Tourby in action.
houndoggie 58 Posted November 19, 2010 It's a faux tourbillon. Still cool though. I'll dig up the sales link for you.

greg_r 81 Posted November 19, 2010 Beautiful watch. There's also a rep of the Cartier tourby, but it's not based on this watch - which means that the 'tourby' is a lot less convincing (just an open balance wheel). I want one of these - the only problem being that the website refuses to accept my credit card. I might have to persuade the missus to buy me one for my birthday via paypal

mondeov6 0 Posted December 3, 2010 That is a very beautiful and stylish watch HD!! They actually make quite a few very nice watches. I have no GMT watch in my collection so I decided to order one. I went for the one in the picture. The price was very good (only 84.89$). This will be a christmas present for myself. Thank's for sharing HD. I would probably not have found the website otherwise.
