When you have counterfeit, you know that you are successful. You must worry if your watches are not counterfeit–then you have a real problem. It’s also the sign that people are cheating. When you buy a counterfeit Kelly bag or Vuitton or Rolex watch or Hublot watch, you are just cheating. It shows how much you are depressed and how much you are a poor person because you need–you think–to overcome your frustration, and you cheat to get your frustration out of your body. Normal people never cheat! They just are happy to buy what they can afford. But they don’t cheat, and they don’t try to look as if they could when they cannot, because every evening when you come back home and take your shit off of your wrist, you will say, “What a poor guy I am. I have again tried to cheat the whole day.†You must be so happy to come back home and take that shit off. It’s a typical attitude of Europe and even America, who want always to look better than they are. Why? In Asia, face is so important that the nation will produce copies for the idiots from Europe and idiots from America, but themselves they will never wear! They have too much pride to wear a fake. So the fake is a social problem of Europe and America, who put more emphasis and more importance on the appearance than on the reality. It’s like in some hospitals or hotels, the entry is beautiful, but don’t go on the first floor. Once you have arrived at the elevator and then you look at the rooms–they are horrible! But the entry–wow! Marble! Brilliant! It looks great from the entry, but the inside it’s horrible. And so that is this fake culture which we have in Europe and probably also here, where people buy fakes. I think it’s a good sign for our success–I think it’s the sign of poverty from Europeans and Americans. You must really be poor to buy a fake. Poor from your mentality. And even poor from your behavior. The fake is not harming Hublot much because only fake people wear fake, and fake people are not our customers. Our customer will never buy a fake, so we are dealing with fake customers. It doesn’t take any sales away, by the way, because it goes to people who would never buy. In the history of fake, our history is new because we are in the fake industry from how long, maybe two years? But when I see the most successful brands like Vuitton for bags or Rolex for watches or Cartier, they have been so long in the fake, and it has not slowed down their expansion. And the watch it's self isn't anything special I am already seeing it go out of fashion at some point because the design has no stability! It's not a watch that can be worn for years to come. Resale value null! He's English sucks! Every Chinese is wearing a fake watch.... And fake watches have come to a point were you can not notice the difference so if some one is wearing the gen or rep you can not confirm weather it's a rep or not! With out opening it.
