bigbossa 0 Posted November 19, 2010 Hi all Got myself a Pam111 h from Robert and I'm planning some mods ie lume and CP mod . What are your opinions on the stock CG on this watch , the CG pin mod I reckon I can do ,but is it worth changing the whole CG to say a torobravo or similar on a watch like this? Advice much apreciated here a re a couple of pics of the CG
greg_r 81 Posted November 19, 2010 The CG isn't perfect but it's not too bad either. Provided the lever is fairly tight I think I'd just do the CP mod if it was me.
houndoggie 58 Posted November 19, 2010 The profile isn't too bad. Not right either, but it is a good start for the pin mod. No need for a new CG.
andygt 0 Posted November 19, 2010 Personally I'd change it for a torobravo/wholesaleoutlet/snembo CG The only thing wrong with it is the side profile though, the rest looks fine and your crown looks good too. Gen CG for comparisson:

Aren 27 Posted November 20, 2010 Nice watch...Congratulations. I love the PAM's and Robert's are great. In general, I think they are great watches. PAMs are getting more popular all the time...so nice purchase. Please post more pictures. I don't know much about the lumes, but ska has a great tutorial on re-lumes and I think he may also be doing them, but you would need to check with him. Fortunately for you, you are in the UK The watch looks lovely to me. more pictures please! Wear it in good health !
Luthier 1 Posted November 20, 2010 @Luthier I think thats normal for a gen. You joking? All gens I inspected at AD have strict parallel lines.

bimmerpilot 0 Posted November 20, 2010 Is it normal for gen.? I purchased the same watch (w s/s band). I just checked the Panerai page and the CG on the rep has the same same "lines" at the latch. http://www.panerai.com/s_dett_prodotto.xpd...1&mode=view

Silverspeed 10 Posted November 20, 2010 Is it normal for gen.? Looks to be normal for the historic luminor marina cases.... the second pic in this link http://www.chrono24.com/nl/panerai/luminor...=1&tab=pics has the exact same CG profile as Andy's
