Mattcrx 8 Posted January 23, 2015 Is this just a generic Asian clone? Very expensive don't you think? He says it's been modified to gen spec with bridges but I didn't realise the 3135 clone was that interchangeable. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221667759298?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
SSTEEL 0 Posted January 23, 2015 Probably a Yuki 3135, not the SA3135, but most certainly not the 3135 decorated 2836-2.
Mattcrx 8 Posted January 23, 2015 So the yuki 3135 will actually accept the gen rotor and bridges? I thought it just accepted the hands. Have you plays with one yet Micky?
BC1221 44 Posted January 23, 2015 from what ive read, they will accept some gen parts. rotor, bridge, dial, dw, hands..etc plenty of posts on all the forums about the yuki3135. theyre apparently pretty solid after a service.
BentleySharp 0 Posted January 23, 2015 Probably a Yuki 3135, not the SA3135, but most certainly not the 3135 decorated 2836-2. The auction states that it is a mix of Swiss and Asian parts... So, whatever it is, it has probably been rebuilt with non-OEM parts at some point in it's life?
Mattcrx 8 Posted January 23, 2015 Yes, that what it looks like! It certainly looks good! Wonder how it does under testing.
ronin007 0 Posted January 23, 2015 I had one not long ago and it played up no end, went for a service across the pond to a famous watch surgeon on rwg, ended up selling it to him
rusty peters 0 Posted January 23, 2015 I had one not long ago and it played up no end, went for a service across the pond to a famous watch surgeon on rwg, ended up selling it to him Expensive and they requite a full service before installation? Sounds great. Are these primarily for people trying to pawn reps off as gens? I can't think of a reason to mess with these.
ronin007 0 Posted January 23, 2015 I got mine as the gen movement had jammed in mine after a accident and I needed parts , was told it accepted all the gen hands etc, in my case was more trouble than it was worth, actually got the gen fixed and serviced for the same price
