RUSH2112 11 Posted January 23, 2015 First, big thanks to cogwatch for getting me over a couple of hurdles namely how he built the partitions for his watch drawer and how he made the pillows for the watches. This is a trial run. I bought a humidor from ebay which I'm going to convert based on what I learned from this and I'll probably give this to a friend. The humidor will be much taller than this box allowing it to accomodate panerai and watches with larger straps.

narikaa 129 Posted January 24, 2015 Nice Simple solution from available materials 'le salvager' would approve Reminds me of the Lidl 'Teaboxes' : Simple pipe lagging inserts Or Rolls Royce'd up (+ proper pillows): Reminds me I bought 5 or 6 of these on a whim way back when (never took out of the wrapping ) Though I saw these make and appearance now n then in the same outlets, surprised no one 'gave it large' and went for it: A bit of stain and varnish , wall mounted, 50/60 reps...I reckon would look good . Fretless_Llama 0 Posted February 2, 2015 This gives me some killer ideas! By trade, I make custom furniture for people. Now I have to figure out how many watches I want to toss in there! Maybe 10 or so will get me started
