tag calibre36 quartz v 7750

just wondered if anyone has purchased tag calibre 36 or rs2 i'm a bit worried about spending $400 on a 7750 movement reading the problems given, i was considering a quartz movement $90 but what would be the case quality difference... any info please..

Well the 7750 second hand will sweep and quartz will tick. Also the quart can be easily spotted as fake because of quartz movement.

Most Rep's are easily spotted as fake, not only by it's movement. Quartz-movements are accurate and almost service-free (accept for battery-replacement). Of course there are other differences; the high-priced rep's mostly have sapphire crystal, better straps, better lume etc. But sometimes the only difference is the movement. So it's your pick (and money). Good luck, let us know your choice.

Go quartz. I love the 36 but I just can't see that one being worth the 7750 troubles. Lawrence has a good looking one:

If you still love it after that one, then go 7750 but for now I'd say quartz.
