Worse case scenario, new movement time, inexpensive. I would go with Greg, and say its either the hair spring tangled up, or the movement is magnetised, or even has a pube lurking in the hair spring.

 

 

Saved yourself some cash there JB, SSTEAL must have another holiday booked :lmao:

Well, given my Cyclops mod'ing ability and the fact that I can now wind a watch.. was about to approach you for my own TD Watch Tinkererererer sections..

err hang on a bit i missed something ,, what was the cure??

 

 

advised him to try having it fully wound and leaving it face down

 

then on it`s side with the crown pointing upwards.

 

 

This sometimes helps if there is an issue with the hairspring.
